Artist Commentary:

Phew! Boy did THIS take me a long time, over 25 hours were spent drawing, tinkering, coloring, editing and finishing up this image! I hope it shows too!

Yes this is a girl dressed up as Bumblebee! I was a fan of Bumble long before the movie (And frankly I miss his bug design) but I re-fall in love with him all over again during the movie! I really really really loved it! And now I lust after a yellow racing-striped Camaro.

So shortly after I saw the film I decided I would draw him, but draw him how I draw anything best - as a cute girl mascot, so no this is not Bumblebee AS a girl, just something based off his movie design. I spent countless hours sifting through images, and finally borrowed a nice one from *Naughty-kittykitty as a reference to Bumble's form during the movie.
